German born Christian moved to the UK in 1992 to follow his first love -- football.
He has worked in the football event industry for over 20 years. His commitment to offering a unique and personal customer service, combined with his interest in football, led him to set up his first business in 1996.
His attention to detail and "can do" attitude is shared with his team and suppliers to ensure that the highest standards are delivered to ESEM's clients. This has earned him an enviable reputation throughout Europe.
From his involvement in Euro '96, the World Cup 2006, the 2002 and 2013 Champions League Finals, plus the handling of over 350 European and international matches and numerous training camp projects, Christian has many career highlights. Combined with the organisation and management of many high profile events and incentives for leading European blue chip companies, his work is certainly varied and fascinating.
Christian has a soft spot for Spain and has been a season ticket holder at Málaga CF since 2005. He combines his visits to the Costa del Sol with working in Marbella and watching his team at La Rosaleda.
Having been brought up in her family's pub, the importance of good customer service has been with Melanie from a very early age. After studying Hotel Management she pursued a successful career working in hotels. Melanie transferred her skills to the agency side of events when she joined Christian's team in 2001. Since then she has been involved in many high profile games and events using her organisational skills to ensure that every final detail is carried out to the highest standard.
When Melanie is not at the gym or running, she enjoys visiting restaurants or cooking up a delicious meal for family and friends. Melanie also likes to travel, although this is not an escape from work as she is always thinking how ESEM's next event can be created in that city, hotel or restaurant!
Following her degree in Hospitality Management, Rachel went on to work in various top hotels in Manchester who specialise in looking after professional football teams. Over the years she has been responsible for numerous high profile and VIP client bookings, including co-ordinating the visits of various Premier League and European football teams. Two of the biggest highlights in her career include her involvement in the Champions League Final at Old Trafford in 2003 and the final at Wembley in 2013.
During her career Rachel has also co-ordinated many highly successful events including anything and everything from multi-day residential conferences to prestigious car launches, from themed gala dinners to private parties and celebrations.
Rachel has a love for travelling and visiting new places; however her biggest passion is Manchester United, where she has been a season ticket holder for 15 years.
