ESEM Europe

Season 2017/18 – Our journey through 12 European countries

All | 27/11/17

We are almost halfway through the 2017/18 season and are looking back at six exciting, eventful and successful months for ESEM. During this period we have organised and managed Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Youth League, World Cup qualifying, International friendly matches and training camps in 12 different European nations.

ESEM prides itself on being totally dedicated to its clients and their projects, therefore only accepting as many events as we can handle to the total satisfaction of our clients. Quality over quantity.

A big thank you to the clubs and their travel agencies (with some of them we have been working for 20 years), our network of carefully selected suppliers and partners across Europe, who have all contributed to the projects being a great success. Then there are airports, local authorities (traffic departments and police) and the hosting football clubs, who all assist us regarding the smooth arrival and departure of the teams plus their parking arrangements. Thank you also to local football clubs for allowing us to use their facilities for additional training sessions.

The organisation of a European football match covers many different areas, beyond the booking of hotel accommodation and transportation. Close co-operation with the local police to cover all aspects of security, with city councils and traffic management contractors to organise and implement special parking dispensation for team busses and other vehicles outside the team hotel. We even organise for the team bus to be washed, so it looks perfect on match night. If a team needs spinning bikes or access to a swimming pool for post-match warm downs, we will ensure that everything is in place. For the guests, sponsors and VIPs, we will source outstanding and traditional local restaurants for lunches and dinners and also look for that special sightseeing tour activity and unusual events, from Afternoon Tea on a London Bus to hiring a former World Champion to introduce guests to the game of Snooker.

Everything is being taken care of, from the moment the delegations arrive at the airport of the match destination to their departure after the game. Our dedicated project managers will monitor all aspects of the stay, so we are always one step ahead. Our carefully selected, qualified tourist guides ensure, that the travelling guests and journalists will get a unique insight into the history and fascinating facts of the city they are visiting.

ESEM – always part your team.
